SCSJ Extra

For almost 40 years, SCSJ Extra (St Clement and St James Charitable Trust) has been supporting the children at the local primary school (and their families) through a number of different projects.

We do not employ any staff to run the charity. We do not pay for any admin, IT, or other overhead costs. Our donors kindly pay for some (limited) fundraising time and the rest of this is provided in kind. Every penny we raise otherwise is for direct project costs; clubs, family support, school trips and the nurture room. The families that the Trust support come from neighbourhoods which are among the 20% most income deprived at national level. Many of these families rely on foodbanks and have complex and challenging home circumstances.
